I love going out to lunch - although in my part of the UK we tend to refer to it confusingly as dinner (and we have tea later!) - see Wikipedia!

Don't forget that as well as eating out, you can invite your friends to your home for a special home-cooked luncheon too. These invites are flexible enough to use either way.
