Don't forget to print out a few extra invites before you start writing them out - you may need them. If the baby is already born, then it is a nice touch to print out a photograph to include with the invitation - it will make it much more personal.

Help guests attend your event by providing as much information as possible. Will they need a map? A gift list? What is the start and end times for the party - and should they bring-a-bottle? Removing all uncertainties makes it much easier for everyone.
